Client Extranet FAQ

What information will be on the extranet?

As a Shepherd client, you will have access to a summary of all the work we’re doing on your case — researching law, writing briefs, communicating with opposing counsel, and so on. And you’ll have access to the important documents in your case — such as briefs, motions, and court rulings.

How will the information on my case be kept secure?

You will have a unique username and password that you create beforehand to access information about your case.

How do I log in to my extranet page?

It’s easy. Just go to the Shepherd homepage, click on Login. You will be prompted for your username and password. If you have more than one case with us, you will see links to separate pages for each case. On each case page, you will see a day-by-day (most-recent first) description of the work we’ve done and the results we’ve gotten. On the righthand side are links to the important documents in the case.

How often is the extranet updated?

It depends on how active your case is. In a very active case, your extranet will be updated daily. In a less-active case, your extranet will be updated as often as appropriate.

Does it cost extra to have an extranet account?

No. The client extranet is available for all of our clients at no additional charge.
